The Clinical Assessment is the third and final part of the assessment process. A candidate is able to apply for the clinical assessment part of the process when he or she passes the Written Assessment. The Clinical Assessment can only be completed in Australia.
The Clinical Assessment comprises three clinical case examinations - one in each of the key areas of physiotherapy practice in Australia:

- neurological physiotherapy
- cardiorespiratory physiotherapy
In order to pass the Clinical Assessment, a candidate must demonstrate that he or she is currently suitable to practice phsyiotherapy independently in Australia by undertaking a safe and effective consultation with three real patients - one in each clinical case examination.
